The Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School will be hosting or taking part in a number of community events in the near future. You can meet staff and current families at these events while learning about virtual public education in a relaxed atmosphere.
Can't come see us in person? Then join us at an Online Parent Information sessions. Every month, we offer a number of online sessions where families and students interested in PAVCS can speak directly to our administrators and learn more about the curriculum, school events, and our numerous programs.
Please help us to collect winter coats for our 2nd Annual Koats for Kids Kampaign. Coats, hats, scarves, or gloves can be dropped off at any participating PAVCS event or bring your donation to the First Presbyterian Church of Milford at 308 Broad Street on Saturday, October 4th from 10am-4pm.
Distribution of coats will be held on Saturday, October 11th from 10am - 4pm. Please join with us in making sure every child has a warm winter! See attached flyer for more information.
Come learn with current PAVCS families how bees help the inner workings of an orchard at Hollabaugh Brother's Orchard in Biglerville, Adams County. Along with learning, get the opportunity to meet with current families and speak with an enrollment representative about the details of our school! After the tour, please bring a sack lunch for a picnic at Oakside Park, 5 minutes from the orchard. In consideration of those with severe allergies, please refrain from bringing nut products.

Learn about local businesses and see products demonstrated. There will be a "Kids Zone" area plus a bake sale, raffles & lots of fun. "Kids Zone" to include Bounce House, face painting, crafts, games, special demonstrations or performances every hour. Sponsored by New Castle MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), a local non-profet organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring mothers of young childern.
Join currently enrolled families for an afternoon at the Ard's Farm Pumpkin Patch. Please bring a sack lunch for a picnic following a tour of the farm. During lunch, get the opportunity to speak with an enrollment representative, current families and staff to learn more about our school. Come out and enjoy the fruits of our labor! This traditional harvest festival includes crafts, games, entertainment and a Moon Bounce. Admission is free. This is truly Fall Fun for the Whole Family.
Gray's Apple Orchard in northern Lebanon County welcomes current PAVCS families/students and interested families for a tour of the farm. Learn about different varieties of apples and pumpkins, as well as giving students the opportunity to pick their own! Please stay for a picnic along the Swatara Creek following the tour, with the opportunity to speak with an enrollment representative and currently families to learn more about PAVCS. Join current PAVCS students for an afternoon of skating, while parents participate in a Parent Learning Opportunity with one of our teachers.
