Enrollment Guidelines and Information

Enrolling in PAVCS is as easy as 1-2-3

1. Complete Our Online Enrollment Form

Please complete our online enrollment form. Before you begin, please have the following information ready:

Please note: Filling out an application does not mean that your child is enrolled in the Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School. Your child needs to remain enrolled in his/her school district until you have been notified by your placement teacher that the enrollment process with PAVCS is complete and you have received an official start date. If the student is withdrawn prematurely, and becomes truant, he/she will no longer be eligible for our school.


2. Speak with an Enrollment Representative

A representative from our office will call you to obtain essential documentation including:

  1. Your child's most recent immunization record
  2. Your child's birth certificate
  3. Your child's most recent report card
  4. A proof of residency in the state of the PA. This can be one of the following: tax statement, mortgage/lease/rental agreement, home utility bill, or driver's license.

You will also need to complete the following state mandated forms. These forms will also need to be submitted to our main office via postal mail or via fax (610-275-3526).

Although the following forms are not required for enrollment, they must be submitted to our office before the admissions interview can take place.

* Note:These forms are not required for enrollment but must be submitted as soon as possible. Please contact the school nurse at 1-866-871-9956 or 610-275-8500 x102 once your appointment is scheduled.

3. Confirmation of Enrollment

A highly trained placement teacher will confirm your start date with PAVCS via phone conference.

Enrollment Policy

PAVCS is currently accepting eligible students in grades K-12 on a first-come, first-serve basis. All students who reside in Pennsylvania are eligible to be admitted. Admission to the school is based on age (must be 5 years old by September 1, 2008) and completion and submission of all enrollment forms and materials. PAVCS is a public school open to residents of Pennsylvania and does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, family income, national origin, or disability.

PAVCS cannot enroll students who have been expelled from their previous school, students who have been suspended for certain reasons, or who have pending truancy issues.
